1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone using the CKFR Home Solutions website and to all customers who engage CKFR Home Solutions ("we", "us", "our") to carry out work.
2. Quotes and estimates
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the scope agreed at the time of quoting; if the scope changes on site, any variation will be agreed with you in writing before additional work is carried out.
3. Bookings and scheduling
A job is booked once you confirm acceptance of the written quote. We will agree a start date and an estimated completion timeframe with you. If we're delayed for any reason, we'll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are stated in GBP and are exclusive of any optional materials upgrades unless stated. Invoices are payable within 7 days of completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer; card payments may be available on request.
5. Workmanship guarantee
Our work carries a 6-month workmanship guarantee from the date of completion, extended to 12 months for customers booked under our published Customer Packages. Materials are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the agreed start date at no charge. Cancellations inside 48 hours may incur a small charge to cover materials already purchased or scheduled time that cannot be re-allocated.
7. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and any relevant utility shut-offs (water, electric isolation) where required. We are not liable for delays caused by access issues outside our control.
8. Liability
We carry full public liability insurance. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in respect of any single job is limited to the value of that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Out-of-scope work
We do not carry out work that requires Gas Safe registration, NICEIC Part P certification, or structural engineering sign-off. Where such work is needed, we will refer you to a suitably qualified specialist.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
